Education Though Adventure Leadership Camp is a 501c3 not for profit organization.

An important mission of Education Through Adventure is to provide educational programs for
young people that will help them learn performance principles and practices that can be
life-changing.

Education Through Adventure has sponsored the founding of this, non-profit youth leadership
development camp called Education Through Adventure Leadership Camp (ETALC).
ETALC's strives to serve young adults aged 8 - 21 with programs and educational experiences
based on Education Through Adventure's proven programs conducted and designed for the
specific needs of today's young people.

In the summer of 2010, ETALC launched an exciting, cost effective Youth leadership program
that explores the essentials of positive change and effective human performance. Taught by
experienced experts in their fields, topics include leadership, high performance teamwork,
meditation, emotional intelligence, optimum health, fitness, and much more.

Education Through Adventure is a training and
consulting company that improves our client's
performance through the systematic and
comprehensive development of people, teams,
and the business.
Since 1998, Education Through Adventure has
pioneered training and development programs
that focus on integrally building the whole
person, the whole team, and the whole business
system. Our unique programs for Team Change
has been proven to build higher levels of
individual performance, teamwork, and new levels
of results-based business effectiveness.
Also, Education Through Adventure has brought
their broad range of innovative programs and
team building experiences into corporate
meetings. Education Through Adventure's skillful
facilitators have helped clients significantly
improve the design and impact of meetings using
field-tested programs and over 100 meeting
design and facilitation methodologies. Our
system of meeting tools are the result of years of
working with major corporate meeting partners
---have supported meeting planners and
executives in creating everything from fun
teambuilding programs and experiences to high
impact, results-based meetings.

The Education Through Adventure
Leadership Camp is a tiny
organization with a big heart. We
also have big dreams to create a
positive place for kids to grow in the
Hudson Valley- and we need your
help to try to accomplish those
dreams!
ETALC is a 501c 3 not-for profit
community based organzaion in
Orange County, New York that is
dedicated to providing community
programs, services and education to
youth and their families both at
camp and reaching out in the
community.

Joseph Ventimiglia MA. Founder, has
been involved in experiential education
for more than 20 years. Joseph designs
programs to meet the client's objectives
and achieve maximum impact.
During his career he has worked as a
wilderness educator and cooperative
trainer with fortune 500 companies and
non-profit organizations. Mr. Ventimiglia
taught The Psychology of Human
Dynamics at Bergen Community College,
in New Jersey and is an Experiential
Education graduate advisor at Prescott
College, in Arizona. In addition, Joseph
offers lectures and leads learning
expeditions, which involve diverse groups
in both wilderness and urban settings.
